Hope with dignity
Nihira Foundation exists to restore hope and dignity among vulnerable communities through inclusion, empowerment, and practical solutions.
Who We Are
Nihira means hope.
We are a community-based nonprofit in Fort Portal, Uganda, walking alongside persons with disabilities, orphans, vulnerable children, women, caregivers, and families.
Our work focuses on practical support that can be felt in daily life: mobility aids, education support, caregiver training, local innovation, and livelihood programs that help households become stronger and more resilient.
