Nihira Foundation exists to restore hope and dignity among vulnerable communities through inclusion, empowerment, and practical solutions.
Who We Are
Nihira
Nihira means hope: We are a community-based nonprofit in Fort Portal, Uganda, working with persons with disabilities, orphans, vulnerable children, women, caregivers, and their families.
Our work focuses on practical support that can be felt in daily life: mobility aids, education support, caregiving, local innovation, and livelihood programs that help households become stronger and more resilient.
